Zara Hatke, the new film starring Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan, was recently released. On Friday, Zara Bachke had a solid opening in theaters. The film collected ₹5.49 crore on Friday and is expected to increase during the weekend.

On Twitter, film industry analyst Taran Adarsh shared the film’s opening day numbers. Saturday morning, he tweeted, “#ZaraHatkeZaraBachke launches on Day 1… Silences skeptics and pessimists who predicted [below]. The Hindustan Times describes the film as both amusing and tedious at times. Ir read: “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke is an amusing family performer who will not weary you. However, it will not leave an enduring impression. A few laughs here and there and a few boisterous characters make it watchable, but the plot lacked sufficient depth, and a stronger screenplay would have helped.”
