Crosby was one of the most influential rock singers of the 1960s and 1970s. He was a founding member of both The Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash (later becoming Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young).
Peter Ford, a reporter for 6PR Breakfast who covers the entertainment industry, said that the singer, songwriter, and guitarist kept going until the end.
“His wife said he had been sick for a long time, but it’s interesting that he just put out a new album seven weeks ago,” Mr. Ford said.
