Twitter blue, which was first created for the purpose of posting short messages, is steadily transforming. The network now enables its paid customers to write longer tweets, increasing the character restriction from the standard 280 characters to a maximum of 280 characters with the most recent addition of its premium service Twitter Blue. Twitter Blue has now been made available to users in India. Users can now take use of the company’s premium service by paying a price of 650 yen per month on the online platform; however, users of Android and iOS devices are required to pay 900 yen per month. Users will also gain access to a plethora of additional features if they upgrade to Twitter Blue.
When our club interviewed @elonmusk in May ‘22, he shared his thoughts on Twitter Blue at the time saying, “Twitter Blue is a piece of shit!”
He went on to share how he planned to make it better.

Here are five features exclusive to Twitter Blue:
1. Users who subscribe to Twitter Blue can now send tweets that are up to 4,000 characters in length. This capability is also accessible for users to use when replying to tweets or tweeting quotes, and users can also incorporate media in their longer postings.
This brand new feature is now only accessible to Blue subscribers, but longer tweets can be viewed by any user who logs in to their account. On the timeline, users will only see the first 280 characters of a tweet; however, they will be able to view the whole message by selecting the Show More button.
2. A less number of advertising will be presented to subscribers. This decision is in line with Twitter CEO Elon Musk’s philosophy towards premium, ad-free subscription tiers, which often cost more money.
3. If you have a Twitter Blue account, you can now post videos that are up to an hour long, which is helpful for live bloggers and video content makers.
4. Users who have a Blue subscription will have the ability to modify tweets and publish long movies of a high quality. Aside from that, Blue comes with other features such as the ability to organise bookmarks, a picture for the NFT profile, a theme, a custom app, and navigation icons.
5. As of right now, Twitter Blue is accessible in 15 different countries. On this list, India, Brazil, and Indonesia are the countries that were added most recently.
