In today’s world, getting scammed with people has become a common thing. But you may come to know that such a big scam happened with a big personality that almost 80% of the money disappeared from his entire bank account. You heard that right, something similar has happened to Jamaican Olympic sprinting legend Usain Bolt. Usain Bolt has lost millions of dollars in his account with Kingston-based investment firm Stocks & Securities Ltd. Lawyers for the track and field star have said $12 million has gone missing from his account with a Jamaican investment firm and they are prepared to take the matter to court if necessary. Now only 12 thousand dollars are left in the account.
What is the whole matter
“The account was part of Bolt’s retirement and life savings,” his attorney, Linton P. Gordon, told Fortune magazine by phone. “This is troubling news for anyone, and certainly in the case of Bolt, who set up this account as part of his personal pension,” Gordon said on Wednesday. We will take this matter to court. This is a serious disappointment, and we are hoping that this matter will be resolved in a way that allows Bolt to get his money back.”

Kingston-based Stocks & Securities Ltd (SSL) said in a January 12 statement that it had become aware of fraudulent activity by a former employee and referred the matter to law enforcement. The Jamaican Constabulary Force said on Monday that its fraud and financial investigation teams are investigating “alleged fraudulent activities at (SSL) which is said to have siphoned off money from Usain Bolt’s account.”
Bolt is the pride of Jamaica
This was Bolt’s lifetime earnings. Dominating world sprinting for a decade, Boldt is one of his country’s biggest figures. If this can happen with Bold in Jamaica, then the money of any citizen of the country is not safe. Boldt has won 8 Olympic gold medals throughout his life. These medals only tell what Bolt has done for his country. Bolt took retirement from sprinting in the year 2017.
