According to an IndiGo press release, a 40-year-old drunk passenger has been detained for allegedly attempting to open the emergency door flap on the Delhi-Bengaluru flight.

According to an IndiGo press release, a 40-year-old drunk passenger has been detained for allegedly attempting to open the emergency door flap on the Delhi-Bengaluru flight.

Friday at approximately 7:56 a.m., flight number 6E 308 from IGI Airport reportedly experienced an incident.

IndiGo described the incident as follows: “A passenger on flight 6E 308 from Delhi to Bengaluru attempted to open the emergency exit while intoxicated.”

“Upon observing this violation, the personnel alerted the captain, and the passenger was warned as necessary. There was no compromise to the flight’s safety, according to the airlines.

Upon arrival in Bengaluru, the passenger was turned over to CISF.

There are ongoing investigations into the matter.
