Seven persons were killed by flash floods in Himachal Pradesh, the third significant rain-related disaster in less than 24 hours. In a video clip from the Mandi district’s Sambal village, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu stated that there are active rescue, search, and relief operations taking place to solve “this dreadful situation”. According to the news agency Press Trust of India, 33 people have perished in situations connected to the hill state’s nonstop rain in the last two days.

Nine persons were killed in a landslip at a Shiv Temple in the Summer Hill neighbourhood of Shimla city, while seven others perished in a cloudburst disaster that occurred in the Solan district last night.
Amit Shah, the union home minister, described the loss of life brought on by the flood as “extremely distressing” and noted that personnel from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) are working in relief and rescue efforts in the rain-damaged Himachal Pradesh.Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the chief minister, has urged residents to stay inside and stay away from rivers and drains. He also urged people to avoid landslide-prone areas in an interview with NDTV and recommended tourists to avoid the state while it is experiencing this catastrophe.
Two landslides in Shimla city are believed to have buried 15 to 20 persons, according to Deputy Shimla Commissioner Aditya Negi, according to news agency PTI. The other location is in the Fagli neighbourhood, where a number of homes were submerged in muck and snow.
Following the cloudburst at Solan’s Mamligh village of Kandaghat subdivision, six persons were saved. According to news agency ANI, two homes and one cowshed were lost in the flood.The state’s emergency operations centre reports that 752 highways were shut down in the state as a result of the disaster.
