5 drinks that will help you boost hemoglobin

If you have low red blood cells, try making these easy and simple juice recipes at home.

Hemoglobin is a protein in the blood that moves oxygen around. Hemoglobin needs the mineral iron to work properly. Hemoglobin is also important for other things that happen in the body, like giving you energy and helping you focus, helping your digestive system work, keeping your immune system strong, and keeping your body temperature at the right level. We have a few healthy drinks here that can help keep your haemoglobin levels up.

Research shows that the minimum amount of iron an adult needs each day is 1.8 mg, which must be met through food. Anemia can happen if you don’t get enough iron.

Anemia can be caused by things like losing too much blood, not getting enough iron from food, or not being able to absorb enough iron from food. Meat, fish, tofu, peas, spinach, beetroot, and other foods can help keep iron levels in the body at a healthy level.
