The remarks that Union Minister Kailash Choudhary made at a farmers’ gathering in Hyderabad that was organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have fuelled the flames of controversy. At the conference, Kailash Choudhary argued that a government that adheres to nationalist ideals ought to be elected in the state, and that “hell” should be reserved for anybody who do not shout “Bharat Mata ki Jai.”
The Minister of State for Agriculture, Kailash Choudhary, made the following statement: “Bharat me rehna hai, toh ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ bolna hoga [If you want to live in India, you must chant ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai].” If you were living in India, would you say ‘Pakistan Zindabad’? After that, the Union Minister continued by saying that the only people who have a place in the country are those who shout “Vande Mataram” and “Bharat Mata ki Jai.”
“Because of this, I would want to say that everyone who does not chant “Bharat Mata ki Jai” and who does not have confidence in Hindustan and Bharat but instead has faith in “Pakistan Zindabad” ought to travel to Pakistan. It is not necessary at this time,” he stated.
It is “necessary” for the country to have a nationalist ideology in the region, he said, adding that the country should be reinforced through joint efforts. He expressed this in conjunction with the statement that the country should be strengthened. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is responsible for organizing the farmers’ convention that took place on the occasion of the recent approval of the terms of reference of the Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal by the union cabinet. These terms of reference will control the distribution of river water between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

In addition to this, Kailash Choudhary addressed the name of the INDIA alliance and suggested that the Congress was guilty of name stealing. In his allegations, Kailash Choudhary stated:”They have given the name INDIA. However, they will not be engaging in this practice of stealing names going forward. If they did the work of stealing names first, then the people associated with the Congress party were the ones who first stole the name of Mahatma Gandhi ji. Today, it’s Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi on the stage. They hope to achieve their goal of being like Gandhiji by stealing Gandhi. In a same fashion, they want to grab the name of India as well.
“First, they stole the name of Congress, then the name of Gandhi and today INDIA,” stated the politician.
