Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers asserted on Tuesday that the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) has decided to move a no-confidence motions against the BJP-led NDA government in Lok Sabha, following the cancellation of the first three days of Parliament’s monsoon session.
What is a vote of no confidence?
A motion of no confidence can only be introduced in the Lok Sabha, and by any member of the House. Before 10 a.m., the member must submit a written notice of the motion, and at least 50 members must accept it. The Speaker will then determine when the motion will be discussed.
