Akshay Kumar reveals Sky Force trailer on Gandhi Jayanti: ‘India’s deadliest air strike’

Sky Force, about the 1965 India-Pakistan War, stars Akshay Kumar. Based on the ‘actual narrative of India’s first air strike’.

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, on Monday, actor Akshay Kumar announced his new film Sky Force. Akshay posted a brief clip on Instagram and informed his followers that the film will be released the following year.

Before the 1965 conflict, the nearly one-minute-long video began with a voiceover threatening India. The video contains the text “Muhammad Ayub Khan, president of Pakistan, September 6, 1965, India-Pakistan conflict.” It was then followed by a video of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri’s response to the threat. The video then states, “The unrecorded true story of India’s first and most lethal air strike.”

Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur are the directors of Sky Force. Sky Force, starring Akshay Kumar, will represent the Bollywood debut of Veer Pahariya. On October 2, 2024, the movie will debut in theaters. Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan are the producers of the film. Sandeep Kewlani has authored the document.

Akshay reportedly filmed for Sky Force in August

In August, Akshay was spotted filming a movie in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh. He was observed traveling a motorcycle in the midst of intense security. In order to capture a glimpse of the actor, a sea of fans crowded the ground. While riding a bicycle, Akshay saluted his admirers. He was unable to greet them in person because they were standing behind a fence. Reportedly, Akshay was filming Sky Force at the time.

Akshay’s upcoming films

In the coming months, fans will see Akshay in several films, including the impending survival drama Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue. The film will debut in theaters on October 6 with Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra in the main roles. Mission Ranignaj, directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, is a Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Ajay Kapoor production.
