The first poster for Deepika Padukone’s highly anticipated sci-fi drama Project K has been released, and viewers have varied reactions to it.
Deepika Padukone’s first appearance
The first image of Deepika Padukone, posted on the official Instagram account of Vyjayanthi Movies, reveals that she exudes an intense aura. She appears to be wearing a rugged cloak and observing something intently.
This marks Deepika’s first collaboration with Prabhas, Nag Ashwin, and Kamal Haasan; she has previously worked with Amitabh Bachchan on Aarakshan and Piku.

Project K will be the first Indian film ever to premiere at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) in 2023. Prior to the event, a Times Square billboard in New York City announcing “First glimpse on July 20” for Project K was spotted.
Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone, along with Nag Ashwin, will participate in the event. At Comic-Con, the Project K team will reveal the film’s title, trailer, and release date. Project K is an international science fiction film produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. The SDCC will be held from July 20-23.
Variety reports that the film will debut exclusive footage at the event. On July 19, Vyjayanthi Movies will offer fans a sneak peek at the film as part of an opening night celebration. The film’s production team will host a symposium titled “This is Project K: First Glimpse of India’s Mytho-Sci-Fi Epic” on July 20. The celebrities will also perform on the SDCC stage.
In a statement regarding the event, Nag Ashwin said, “India is the birthplace of some of the greatest legends and superheroes ever penned. We believe that our film is an endeavour to reveal and communicate this to the world. And Comic-Con provides us with the ideal platform to introduce our narrative to an international audience.”

On January 12, 2024, Project K will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and English.
