Apple, which opened its first two exclusive India retail stores in April, with CEO Tim Cook inaugurating the stores in Mumbai and Delhi, plans to open three more stores in the country by 2027, as part of a larger expansion strategy.
According to Bloomberg’s Apple Chief Correspondent Mark Gurman, this is the case. Thursday, Gurman posted the following tweet: “Apple is planning 53 new, remodeled, or relocated stores by 2027, including several new locations in China, Japan, and Korea; three new stores in India; and new outlets in Miami, Detroit, London, and Germany. Here are all the details and graphics.”

Where will Apple open the 3 new outlets in India?
According to Gurman, the new boutiques will also open in Mumbai and Delhi, like the first two. In 2025, the country’s third Apple store is expected to open in the northwestern suburb of India’s financial capital, Borivali. 2027 will see the opening of the fifth in the city’s Worli district.
In 2026, the tech giant’s fourth exclusive store will open in the DLF Promenade complex in the nation’s capital; this will likely be the company’s second-largest store in India.

First Apple outlets in India
Cook opened Apple’s first store in the world’s fifth-largest economy on April 18 at the Jio World Drive complex in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). This is Apple’s largest retail location in India.
The CEO then flew to Delhi, where he inaugurated the outlet at the Saket’s Select Citywalk emporium on April 20.
