Amitabh Bachchan disclosed that he was involved in an accident in Hyderabad while filming the upcoming film Project K. Amitabh revealed on his blog on Sunday that he was injured during an action shot. He wrote, “right rib cartilage ruptured and right rib cage muscle tore.” The veteran actor was given medical care and instructed to rest. The actor added that the production was cancelled and he returned to Mumbai via flight.
Amitabh authored a blog entry titled “And it must be communicated.. not withheld.. In Hyderabad, during an action shot for Project K, I was injured.. rib cartilage popped broke and muscle tear to the right rib.. cancelled shoot.. did Doctor consult and scan by CT at the AIG Hospital in Hyderabad and flown back home.. strapping has been done and rest has been advocated.. yes painful.. on movement and breathing.. will take some weeks before normalisation occurs…”
