Yo Yo Honey Singh has finally addressed allegations that he kidnapped and assaulted an event organizer.
Wednesday, Festivina Music Festival owner Vivek Ravi Raman lodged a complaint with the Mumbai Police, alleging that Honey Singh and his crew members kidnapped and assaulted him.
Thursday evening, in response to such allegations, Honey Singh posted on Instagram Story that the specific complaint against him is “false” and “without merit.”
“The complaint and allegations are false and without foundation. There is no connection or agreement between my company and the complainant, as reported by the media since this morning. Tribevibe, a reputable company and subsidiary concern of Bookmyshow, hired me for the Mumbai Show. I gave my performance for as long as the permission was granted,” he wrote.
Yo Yo Honey Singh added that his legal team intends to file a defamation lawsuit against the accuser.
“The remaining allegations are false and intended to tarnish my reputation. My Legal Team is currently preparing to initiate a defamation lawsuit against these miscreants,” he added.
