New covid cases in India: According to data from the health ministry, there are currently 40,215 active infections.
Wednesday saw a significant increase in the number of daily Covid-19 cases in India, with 7,830 new infections bringing the total number to 4,47,76,002. A total of 5,676 cases were confirmed on Tuesday. According to ministry of health data, there are 40,215 active infections.
To date, 4,42,04,771 persons have recovered, bringing the recovery rate to 98.72%. Meanwhile, with the addition of 16 new fatalities, the disease’s death toll has risen to 5,31,010. The fatality rate is 1.19 percent, according to data from the health ministry.
On September 1 of last year, the country recorded an increase of 7,946 COVID-19 cases in a single day.

The website of the ministry confirmed that 220.66 billion doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the country as part of a nationwide vaccination campaign.
