He said: “Fantastic performance, Debosmita. The best thing about your performance is that your singing, pronunciation, diction, and articulation are so good because you are Bengali. Your performance shows how hard you work.”
The 77-year-old actor has been in a lot of movies and played both minor and bad parts. “Kalicharan,” which came out in 1976, was the first movie where he was the main hero that did well. Later, he was the main character in movies like “Ab Kya Hoga, Khan Dost,” “Yaaron Ka Yaar,” “Dillagi,” “Vishwanath,” “Muqabla,” and “Jaani Dushman.”
In the 1981 movie “Naram Garam,” he also sang the song “Ek Baat Suni Hai Chachaji” with singer Sushma Shrestha.

While he was praising the contestant, he also praised her parents for helping her become a singer.
He added: “I need to thank the people who have helped you. In a time when women are becoming more powerful, your mother and father are the ones who helped you get there and helped you do well in music.”
The veteran actor and his wife Poonam Sinha will be on the singing reality show’s “Shaadi Special” episode.
Vishal Dadlani, Neha Kakkar and Himesh Reshammiya are seen as judges.
