PM Modi to visit Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh today, dedicate projects

On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit to Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh,He will cast the foundation stone and dedicate several projects in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

Afterwards, he will travel to Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, to witness the closing ceremony of the Gita Press Gorakhpur centennial celebrations.

Following the ceremony, Vande Bharat trains will be halted at the Gorakhpur railway station.

PM Modi will travel from Gorakhpur to Varanasi, where he will inaugurate and set the foundation stone for a number of projects.

Prior to Prime Minister Modi’s scheduled visit on Friday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inspected the program venues and assessed the preparations on Thursday.

CM Adityanath inspected Gita Press and Gorakhpur Railway Station, locations where PM Modi is scheduled to attend a number of events.

Following the Gita Press Tour, the Chief Minister arrived at the Gorakhpur train station via the same route as Prime Minister Modi.

The CM went to Platform No. 1 of the station and provided a comprehensive report on the preparations made thus far by the Railway and Administration officials.

Earlier, in a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s office, he announced that he would visit four states on July 7-8, including Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, and Rajasthan, during which he would set the foundation and inaugurate a number of projects for the people totaling Rs 50,000 crore.
