In less than two weeks, the Zim Afro T10 will commence, featuring five teams competing for the championship. The Zim Afro T10 is the first foray of franchise cricket into Zimbabwe. It is being organized by Zimbabwe Cricket and T Ten Global Sports, who today released the schedule for what is anticipated to be a cricket extravaganza.

Act 1 of the Zim Afro T10 will begin with a glittering opening ceremony in Harare on 20 July at 6 p.m. local time, followed by the initial match between the Harare Hurricanes and the Bulawayo Braves at 7 p.m. Harare Hurricanes, Durban Qalandars, Cape Town Samp Army, Bulawayo Braves, and Johannesburg Buffaloes are the five privately owned teams.

After the first day of the Zim Afro T10, nine events are scheduled over the next three days. On days with three contests, the first match will commence at 3 p.m. local time, followed by contests at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time. There are a total of six days in which three events will be played, while the 24th and 27th of July will each host two.

On July 28, at 3 p.m., Qualifier 1 will commence, featuring the top-ranked team from the league stages against the second-place team; the victor advances to the final. This will be followed by an Eliminator in which the third and fourth-ranked teams will compete for a position in Qualifier 2.

In Qualifier 2, the losing team from Qualifier 1 will face the Eliminator victor for a spot in the championship match. The grand final is scheduled for 5 p.m. local time on July 29. The closing ceremony will conclude the Zim Afro T10. The picturesque Harare Sports Club will host all of the competitions.
