Police recovered an air gun, pellets, a plastic bag containing 105 bottles of cough syrup, alprazolam tablets strips, a laptop and an iPhone from the accused, identified as Varinder Saini of Manimajra
A man, age 34, was taken into custody by the police when they discovered that he was in possession of both firearms and illegal drugs. Varinder Saini of Manimajra has been determined to be the person responsible for this crime.
An air gun, seven air cylinders, a packet of pellets, a plastic bag holding 105 bottles of cough syrup containing 100 millilitres each of chlorpheniramine maleate and codeine phosphate, alprazolam tablet strips, a laptop, and an iPhone were all located and recovered by the police.
An individual was taken into custody in Manimajra when a squad that was conducting routine patrols in the region received information about a man driving a Honda Amaze while carrying illegal ammunition. After that, the suspect was detained at a naka located close to the Mauli Jagran Chowk police station. The accused was charged with violating the Arms Act as well as the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act since they were found to be in possession of illegal tablets, syrup, and a firearm respectively. The accused was unable to present any licence or permit for doing so.
