In wet weather, he lost control of his Lexus LS 500, causing it to swerve and collide with a fence. In 2010, he was extracted from a smouldering Jaguar on a Los Angeles highway. Despite being dragged from the vehicle, he claimed he was unaware that it had taken fire. Thus, was saved following such a horrific disaster.

His career stretches over seven decades and includes notable contributions to the theater, television, and cinema. He has garnered a Daytime Emmy, a Daytime Tony, a Grammy, four Primetime Emmys, and a Golden Globe, among other awards. His 1960s roles in Mary Poppins and other classics catapulted him to prominence.

Despite his retirement, he continues to receive extensive media attention. In 2010, he recalled a personal incident in which he drifted out to sea after falling unconscious on a surfboard.

Authorities are reportedly requiring Dick Van Dyke to retake his driver’s licence exam after the accident raised concerns about his ability to continue driving at such an advanced age. Due to Van Dyke’s reluctance to be hospitalized, his ability to evaluate the extent of his injuries at his age is questioned. Despite what has been said, he is currently recuperating and receiving tremendous support from supporters and industry peers. They have expressed their hopes for a rapid recovery.

Fans last saw him on television in February, when he was revealed on The Masked Singer’s season 9 première. In the first episode, three contestants wore masks and attempted to advance to the second episode without revealing their identities.
