will be the first unmanned mission

This will be the first unmanned mission in the last quarter of 2023. This will be done to validate the performance of the human-rated launch vehicle, orbit module propulsion system and recovery operations. ISRO is planning to conduct the first Runway Landing Experiment (RLV-LEX) of the Reusable Launch Vehicle from the Aeronautical Test Range at Chitradurga in Karnataka early next year. This information was given by Union Minister of State Jitendra Singh to the Parliament this month.

Private companies are growing fast in India

Indian start-ups have made their debut with the first private sector company Skyroot Aerospace’s Vikram-S rocket to sub-orbital flight (sub-orbital flight). Pixel’s hyperspectral satellite Shakuntala was launched on SpaceX’s Falcon-9 rocket in April and ISRO’s PSLV in November. Skyroot Aerospace launched India’s first privately developed rocket in November. It plans to put a client satellite into orbit next year, while Agnikul Cosmos, a start-up on the IIT-Madras campus, also plans its test flight with the highly customizable Agniban rocket.

Competition will start in many companies around the world

Pixel co-founder and CEO Awais Ahmed said that we are developing six commercial hyperspectral imagery satellites, which will be ready for launch next year.

He added, “Many more rocket companies around the world will see their first orbital launch succeed. This would lead to a rocket-themed Game of Thrones, as they can compete for the same set of customers sending satellites into space.”
