Coronavirus Cases In US: In view of the worsening situation due to Corona in China, America has given instructions to be strict. The US on Wednesday (December 28) announced a new corona testing policy for all passengers coming from China. Under this, now it will be necessary for all passengers coming from China to America to get Covid test done two days before traveling and show negative corona report.

Citing a US federal health official, AFP said that all passengers traveling by air from China, Hong Kong and Macau will be required to undergo a corona test two days before arriving in the US. This rule will apply to all air passengers of two years and above. All passengers will have to provide documents regarding the negative report to the concerned airline before boarding the aircraft. The new rules will come into effect from January 5.

‘China gave limited information on the spread of the new variant’
Actually, in view of the increasing cases of Corona in China, America has become alert. “The recent acceleration in the spread of COVID-19 in China raises the possibility of new variants emerging,” a US federal health official told reporters in a phone briefing. The official said Beijing has provided only limited data in global databases about the spread of the new variant in China. Apart from this, testing and reporting on new cases of corona in China has also reduced. “Based on this paucity of available data, it is difficult for US public health officials to identify new variants spreading in the United States,” the official said.

The US health official further said that the United States is concerned about the health of its citizens, so the US is taking deliberate and proactive steps to protect the public health of its citizens. America is alert for any possible Kovid-19 variant. He said that the new guideline regarding China will be applicable from January 5.

America cautious about Chinese air travelers

According to US officials, 290 flights operate from China and its surrounding areas to the US every day. In such a situation, America has become cautious in view of the increasing cases of corona infection in China. The new rule regarding air passengers will apply to all passengers coming to America via Seoul, Toronto and Vancouver. Apart from this, those who became corona positive 10 days before traveling to America, they will also have to provide proof of recovery from Kovid.
