A video that was posted to social media showed railroad workers clearing the tracks of stones and rods quickly gained a lot of attention.

On Monday, a loco pilot in Chittorgarh played a crucial role in preventing a severe catastrophe that may have resulted in the derailment of the Udaipur-Jaipur Vande Bharat Express. The driver noticed that there was a collection of stones, some of which were as large as a brick, that had been placed on the tracks, which presented a significant risk for an accident. Particularly noteworthy is the fact that Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the train on September 24.

Online users watched in rapt attention as video clips of railroad workers clearing stones from the rails went viral. It was clear that a rod made of iron had been placed between the fish plates that made up the tracks. After spotting the debris about 10 in the morning, the loco pilot put on the emergency brakes and brought the train to a stop.

After doing a comprehensive check, the staff members discovered a loose fastener, which they promptly fixed by removing it. According to a representative from the railway company, there were two iron rods that were each one foot in length and had been secured to the track.
