After the earthquake that struck Turkey, rescue efforts are still ongoing in the provinces of Kahramanmaras and Hatay.
The Turkish disaster service announced on Sunday that search and rescue operations have been wrapped up in all provinces of the country with the exception of the two that were severely damaged by the big earthquake that occurred a week ago and resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands of people.

“The search and rescue operations have been finished in the majority of our provinces. They are still going on in the provinces of Kahramanmaras and Hatay “Yunus Sezer, the head of the agency, was quoted as saying this to reporters in Ankara. The location of Kahramanmaras served as the epicentre of the 7.8-magnitude earthquake that occurred on February 6.
