Delhi fridge murder: The police investigation has revealed new information about the Delhi refrigerator murder case in which Nikki Yadav was strangled by lover Sahil Gehlot on the day of Sahil’s wedding. The murder occurred in broad daylight on February 10 at the parking lot of Nigam Bodh Ghat between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m., according to authorities.
Nikki and Sahil were together the night before in Sahil’s cousin’s automobile, which has been identified on CCTV footage from multiple nighttime places in Delhi. On February 9, Sahil became engaged, followed by his wedding on February 10. During this time, he murdered his longtime secret girlfriend Nikki and hid her body in the refrigerator of his dhaba.
1.Nikki called Sahil on February 9 after learning of his engagement. They intended to elope after they argued about Sahil’s decision to keep Nikki in the dark about his engagement and wedding (the next day).
2.Sahil arrived at Nikki’s apartment after midnight and took her out. They departed in a vehicle belonging to Sahil’s relative. The vehicle was seized.
3.They visited various locations, including Nizamuddin and Anand Vihar.
4.They spent the entire night together in a car travelling around the city in an attempt to flee. Sahil began receiving calls from his family members who were preparing for the wedding in the morning. The pair resumed their quarrel, when Sahil strangled Nikki with a mobile phone charging cord.
5.After killing Nikki, Sahil drove 40 kilometres nonstop from Kashmere Gate to Najafgarh. Nikki’s body was secured with a seat belt the entire time she was in the vehicle.
6. At the dhaba, Sahil parked his car, transferred the body to the trunk, and shuttered the restaurant.
7.Then Sahil returned to his residence and joined the wedding festivities in Madothi village.
8.On February 11 at approximately 1:00 a.m., he returned to his village with his wedding bride.

9.After everyone had fallen asleep, Sahil drove himself to the dhaba. Here, he placed the corpse in a refrigerator.
10.Sahil confiscated Nikki’s phone, turned it off, and wiped all chats and call logs.
