IND vs AUS, 2nd Test Day 2 Highlights:
IND vs AUS: Australia ended Day 2 at 61 for 1 with a 62-run lead over India. Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne stayed unbeaten on their respective scores of 39 and 14. Earlier, Axar Patel hit 74 runs and Virat Kohli scored 44 as India were bowled out for 262 runs.
In the 27 overs that have been played so far, 91 runs have been scored, but India has lost three wickets. Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin, both of whom can play multiple positions, collaborated against the outsiders and added forty more runs.
After lunch, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja picked up where they left off in the match. Both bats contributed to the 59 runs that were scored before Jadeja was taken out of the game by Murphy. He had a review for India burned, and it was discovered right in front of him. Virat Kohli eventually made the contentious choice to accompany him into the dressing room after some time had passed. In his situation, both the bat and the pad were in close proximity to the ball, and the batting messiah was out for 44. The loss of Srikar Bharat for a low score left India in a precarious position at 139-7.
Prior to that, KL Rahul had another low score in international cricket as a result of being trapped in front by Lyon, and the review did not save his wicket. Soon after, Rohit Sharma went out of the match after Lyon bowled him clean. Cheteshwar Pujara, who was playing in his 100th Test, was robbed of a victory because of an incorrect judgement made by the umpire. Prior to that, Australia had squandered two reviews. On the day in question, Skipper Cummins did not make a reference, and it was later established that it would have been appropriate to do so. Shreyas Iyer was out after being caught by a superb reflex catch at short-leg.
