On Thursday, in Delhi, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform the opening ceremony for the Aadi Mahotsav 2023, a big national tribal festival. Over two hundred booths will be set up at the venue to display the rich and varied cultural traditions of various tribes from all over the country as part of the event. According to an official statement, the Mahotsav will include the work of around one thousand different artists from various ethnic communities.
According to an announcement, the Aadi Mahotsav 2023 for this year will take place in the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in Delhi from February 16 to February 27.
According to a statement, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open Aadi Mahotsav, the huge National Tribal Festival, on the 16th of February at 10:30 AM at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in Delhi.” This will be done in an effort to “showcase the tribal culture on the national stage.”
The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) made the observation that Prime Minister Modi has been at the forefront of taking actions to improve the welfare of the country’s tribal population, while also giving due respect to the contribution that tribal people have made to the expansion and development of the nation.

The statement said, “Since 2023 is being commemorated as the International Year of Millets, in addition to the normal attractions like as handicrafts, handloom, ceramics, jewellery, etc., a special focus in the Mahotsav will be on presenting Shree Anna grown by tribals.”
Under the auspices of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, the Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation Limited (TRIFED) organises an annual festival called the Aadi Mahotsav. This festival honours the spirit of tribal culture, including traditional arts and crafts, cuisine, commerce, and traditional forms of artistic expression.

Approximately one thousand tribal artisans will take part in the Mahotsav. Since 2023 is the International Year of Millets, along with the typical attractions such as handicrafts, handloom, pottery, and jewellery, the Mahotsav will place special emphasis on exhibiting Shree Anna grown by tribals.
