Vande Bharat Express: Unidentified individuals threw stones at a coach of the Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat train as it passed through the Mahabubabad district of Telangana on Friday, according to railway officials.
The Railway Protection Force (RPF) noticed it and an investigation is underway, they said.
When asked if there was any damage or cracking to the window panes, officials told PTI, “It (damage) will be assessed after the train arrives in Visakhapatnam.”
On the basis of preliminary investigation, it is suspected that some children may have thrown stones at the train, but further investigation is ongoing, they stated.
The investigation is ongoing, and the railway police will file a case on their own, the official added.

Prior to the launch of the Vande Bharat Express last month, unidentified individuals threw stones at a train coach in the Visakhapatnam railway yard, shattering a window.
