Sushmita Sen had a heart attack, but she is now getting better and has also gone back to work. Recently, News Agency talked to Dr. Rajiv Bhagwat, who was Sushmita’s cardiologist and did her surgery. When asked if the 47-year-old actress ignored any warning signs, he said, “It’s hard to say, but let’s say, ‘Sushmita is blessed that she came in at the right time and right place.'” He was also asked if Sushmita’s “high physical activity” kept the damage from being worse, to which he answered, “Yes.” He also said, “Her high level of activity did help keep the damage to a minimum.” This is the most important thing that has been said.”
He went on, “I think it’s important to stress that you shouldn’t work out more than 3 or 4 days a week. You shouldn’t work out every day; your body needs time to recover from the stress of exercise.” I’m not saying that people need to push themselves as much as if they were trying to become personal trainers. If you work out all the time without taking breaks or getting enough sleep, your hormone levels might not go down, which is very dangerous.
When asked how he and Sushmita Sen kept a low profile, Dr. Rajiv said, “Good, that’s how it should be. That’s why this episode is so great. So everything went very well.”

In an Instagram post earlier this month, Sushmita Sen told her followers that she had a heart attack. In one part of her post, she wrote, “I had a heart attack a few days ago… The angioplasty was done, the stent was put in, and, most importantly, my cardiologist told me again, “Yes, you do have a big heart.” This post is just to let my friends and family who care about me know that everything is fine and I’m ready to start living again.
