EAM Dr. S. Jaishankar speaks on reports of late PM Indira Gandhi’s assassination celebration in Canada. He stated, “I believe there is a larger issue at hand…Why anyone would do this, other than the requirements of vote bank politics, is beyond our comprehension…I believe there is a larger underlying issue regarding the space granted to separatists, extremists, and advocates of violence. I believe it is detrimental to relationships and to Canada.”
