Following an intelligence report of a probable jailbreak, Amritpal Singh’s associates fled Punjab

The media reported that Amritpal Singh’s Khalistan allies and supporters were expelled from Punjab after the Central Intelligence Agency expressed concern over a possible escape and a repeat of the Ajnala incident.

The media reported that Amritpal Singh’s Khalistan allies and supporters were expelled from Punjab after the Central Intelligence Agency expressed concern over a possible escape and a repeat of the Ajnala incident. On February 23, this year, tens of thousands of Amritpal supporters stormed the Ajnala police station in Amritsar to liberate a member detained in an abduction case.

According to a source cited by the media, intelligence agencies have corroborated this after sharing their intelligence report on the arrested “Waris Punjab De” (WPD) members under the National Security Act (NSA) and recommending their removal from Punjab.

The associates of Amritpal Singh have been transferred to the Dibrugarh jail in Assam for security concerns.

According to the report, the detained individuals would have attempted jailbreaks if they had been imprisoned in Punjab.

“They would have radicalized other incarcerated criminals and associated them with Anandpur Khalsa Fauj/AKF,” according to a report cited by the media.

In addition, it stated that they would have established law and order by mobilizing against the arrest, as evidenced by the incident at Ajnala. In any case, they would have engaged in unlawful activities from the Punjab prison.

The detained individuals were charged under the National Security Act (NSA) for using youth for violence and promoting gun culture by naming their private militia Anandpur Khalsa Fauj/AKF.

In addition, the report stated that the arrested individuals posed a threat to national integrity by openly declaring that they do not believe in the state, defying orders from the Punjab Government not to display weapons in public, and beating youth at so-called drug de-addiction centers who did not adhere to the WPD’s ideology, among other actions.

“Had no action been taken pursuant to the NSA, the thugs of Waris Punjab De would have repeated these acts because they did not respect the sanctity of the law. Their ties to the banned SFJ (Sikhs for Justice), who have now come out in support of the WPD,” it said, citing ANI.

In the Ajnala incident, Amritpal supporters threatened the police with swords and high-powered weapons if they did not release Lovepreet Toofan.

The allies passed through the police blockades erected in front of the Ajnala police station while brandishing swords and other weapons.

Young Drug Addicts were Amritpal Singh’s target.

Amritpal Singh, a fugitive extremist cleric and Khalistan supporter, has reportedly been recruiting drug addicts and disgruntled ex-servicemen to assist him in forming a gang that could easily become a terrorist organization, according to claims made by officials on Thursday, as reported by the media.
