Microsoft reinvents office applications with AI-based tools.

Microsoft 365 users will soon be able to utilise an AI “Co-pilot,” the company announced at an event on Thursday (local time), according to a statement released by Microsoft.

Microsoft is reimagining the software development of its Power Platform, which includes Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, with AI-powered no-code development and the addition of new features such as Copilot.

Microsoft 365 users will soon be able to utilise an AI “Co-pilot,” the company announced at an event on Thursday (local time), according to a statement released by Microsoft.

“Creators now have a live in-studio copilot who assists them in constructing solutions and offers suggestions for enhancement. You can describe an app, flow, or bot using natural language, and the copilot will construct it in seconds. That simple,” the statement read.

“Copilot in Power Apps makes it simple to maintain data at the core of all applications. A data table is automatically generated for your application based on its purpose description. Using Copilot, developers can then utilise natural language to tailor the application to their requirements. Since 2021, Microsoft Power Platform has empowered all developers with AI-powered development experiences, according to the company.
