Commercial LPG cylinder prices slashed by Rs 171.5 per unit

Now the retail price of a 19 kg LPG cylinder in Delhi stands at Rs 1,856.50. In April also the prices were reduced by Rs 91.5 to Rs 2,028 per unit.

Commercial LPG cylinder prices slashed: According to reports, the price of commercial LPG cylinders has been reduced by Rs 171.5 today. Currently, the retail pricing of a 19-kilogram LPG cylinder in Delhi is Rs 1,856.50. In April, the unit price was also reduced by Rs 91.5 to Rs 2,028. The price of a commercial LPG cylinder in Kolkata has increased to Rs 1960.5, from Rs 2132 previously. The price of an LPG cylinder in Mumbai will increase to Rs 1808 from Rs 1980. In Chennai, the price has decreased to Rs 2021 from Rs 2192.

The price of commercial LPG cylinders increased by Rs 350.50 per unit and the price of domestic LPG cylinders increased by Rs 50 per unit on March 1. The prices of commercial cylinders were reduced by Rs 91.50 on September 1. Prior to that, the prices of commercial cylinders were reduced by Rs 36 on August 1 and Rs 8.5 per unit on July 6 for 19-kilogram commercial cylinders.

There have been no modifications to the prices of domestic LPG cylinders. The domestic cylinder is available in Delhi for Rs 1103, in Mumbai for Rs 1112.5, in Kolkata for Rs 1129, and in Chennai for Rs 1118.50. Domestic gas in Patna costs $1,201 per cylinder.

The price of a domestic gas cylinder varies by state based on state taxes. The rates are typically adjusted on the first of each month. Aside from that, a household may receive 12 domestic containers at subsidized rates per year. Any additional purchases will incur an additional charge.
