In order to augment its customer base, Vistara has implemented a program whereby members of its loyalty program are granted complimentary Wi-Fi access while aboard international flights operated by Airbus A321neo and Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. “Complimentary in-flight Wi-Fi has been made available exclusively to Club Vistara members. We take great pride in being the sole Indian airline to offer this amenity aboard… Vistara announced on its website, “Remain in touch with loved ones and acquaintances while at an altitude of 35,000 feet using the complimentary unlimited data, which is ideal for messaging applications such as WhatsApp, Messenger, iMessage, and others.”
It said, “You can use your own electronic devices, like a laptop, tablet, or smartphone, to enjoy this service while traveling outside of India on our Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and Airbus A321 aircraft.”

Twenty-one million people flew with Vistara in July. As an ode to the feelings they gave their customers, the airline chose to celebrate the milestone with a campaign called “#50MillionFeelings.”
The lucky 50 millionth customer had an unforgettable experience, complete with pick-up and drop-off in a luxurious chauffeur-driven car, an unexpected upgrade to Business Class, a free Gold Tier membership to the Club Vistara loyalty program, access to special lounges, help with luggage, and other perks.
“We wanted to share our story of reaching a big goal: flying 50 million customers. That’s 50 million customers, 50 million journeys, and 50 million feelings.” Deepti Sampat, vice president of marketing at Vistara, said in a statement, “As a key driver of this campaign, we wanted to try something that’s new and interesting so that it goes viral.”
