Republic Day 2023: Metro train timings details

The metro train timings will be affected as the security will be tightened in the national capital on the occasion of Republic day 2023.

Republic day: People with a valid e-invitation card or e-ticket can pick up these tickets at the metro station from which they plan to get to the venue by showing their e-invitation card or e-ticket. These coupons will be given out between 4:30 and 8:00 in the morning.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has decided that people who have been invited to the 74th Republic Day celebrations on Thursday at Delhi’s Kartavya Path will be able to ride the metro for free. People who go will get tickets (coupons) that let them get to two stations near Raisina Hill and Mandi House station for free.

People with a valid e-invitation card or e-ticket can pick up these tickets at the metro station from which they plan to get to the venue by showing their e-invitation card or e-ticket. These coupons will be given out between 4:30 and 8:00 in the morning.

To get to the venue, people can only get off the metro at Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhawan, or Mandi House. Metro officials have put out a statement asking people to carry a government-issued photo ID card and show it when they pick up coupons at a metro station.

Since Rajpath was changed to “Kartavya Path” last year, this will be the first time the ceremonial boulevard has been used for Republic Day events. The government is letting a lot of people buy 32,000 tickets online.

The parade will start at 10:30 a.m. at Vijay Chowk and go to the Red Fort via Kartavya Path, C-Hexagon, the roundabout statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Tilak Marg, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, and Netaji Subhash Marg.

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi is the most important guest at R-Day, which will show off the country’s cultural diversity. A group of 120 Egyptians will also march on Kartavya Path as part of the celebrations.
