Next month, Apple will open India’s first main retail store in Mumbai: Report

Apple wants to open its first main retail store in Mumbai by April 2023, another Apple main store will open in New Delhi

It is said that Apple plans to open its first main retail store in India in Mumbai. Even though the Cupertino-based tech giant hasn’t said anything public about it, the main store is said to open next month, in April. At the moment, Apple sells its goods in India through partner shops all over the country. It was said earlier this year that the company is hiring people to work in its retail shops in both Mumbai and Delhi. So, you can also expect the Apple store in Delhi to open in the coming months.

According to a story in the News magazine, which cited two business leaders who knew about the plan, Apple wants to open its first main retail store in Mumbai by April 2023. It is said that in the coming weeks, another Apple main store will open in New Delhi.

Apple’s main store is likely to be in Mumbai’s Reliance Industries’ Jio World Drive mall, which is 22,000 square feet in size. People say that the Mumbai store will be a major store on the same level as shops in Los Angeles, New York, Beijing, and Singapore.

On the other hand, the second store in Delhi is said to be between 10,000 and 12,000 square feet and will be in the Select CityWalk mall. This should come out between April and June.

Earlier this year, it was said that the company has started hiring people all over India to work in its two retail stores. In India, Apple’s website lists more than 100 job openings, according to the story. The store jobs were listed for different places all over the country.

Even though Apple hasn’t confirmed what happened before or what’s being said now, it’s not too much of a stretch to say that the company has been doing well in the Indian markets.
