Many individuals concur with the statement that love knows no bounds.
It has happened that lovers will go to any lengths to spend time together.
Most of us have engaged in anything from skipping class to deceiving our parents.
Did we not?
But this Australian man made the decision to raise the volume.
To spend time with his girlfriend rather than his partner, he thought up the plan to pretend to be kidnapped.

A 35-year-old man named Paul Iera was detained on Thursday, according to a report by LAD Bible, for allegedly making a false charge and representation that resulted in an expensive and time-consuming inquiry.

The probe cost the government and the police force over $25,000 and between 100 and 200 hours of wasted work, according to police prosecutor Sergeant Kate McKinley.

On New Year’s Eve, Mr. Iera apparently left his house, telling his spouse that he was going to meet a “finance guy” in Dapto.
He claimed to have been kidnapped in a late-night text message that his partner received from a sex worker.
According to reports, the text message said that in exchange for Mr. Iera’s bike, the kidnappers would release him in the morning.

‘[Partner] it’s ‘[name]’ thank you for delivering Paul to me, now payback is a b**** bye bye,’ the text apparently read.
However, I promise to be fair OK; we will keep him with us until the morning when (sic) he returns us his bike; no one will touch him, that much I can guarantee.

Reports state that after this, Mr. Iera’s partner called the police after getting a text message from a sex worker saying that Mr. Iera had been abducted and was being held hostage for his $7,000 dirt bike.
