Leaders Napoli ended Juventus’ eight-match Serie A winning streak in stunning fashion on Friday, embarrassing Massimiliano Allegri’s squad 5-1 in the top-of-the-table matchup.
Napoli extended its lead at the top of the table by 10 points with 47 points after 18 games. Third-place Juventus is tied on 37 points with second-place AC Milan, who has a game in hand.

Meret was helpless as Di Maria made it 2-1 with a low shot into the left corner three minutes later, bringing Juventus back into the game. Napoli regained a two-goal lead 10 minutes into the second half when defender Amir Rrahmani scored a spectacular first-touch goal off a corner kick.

Minutes later, Osimhen might have made it 4-1 from close range, but his shot just missed the bar. In the 65th minute, the striker scored his 12th Serie A goal of the season with his second header of the night. In the 72nd minute, substitute Eljif Elmas clinched the victory for Napoli.
