Umesh Pal murder: Lookout notice issued against Shaista Parveen, Guddu Muslim, Sabir

Since the sensational daylight murder of Umesh Pal in the city, Prayagraj Police have issued lookout notices for the fugitive wife of deceased gangster Atiq Ahmed, Shaista Parveen, as well as for his close associates, Guddu Muslim and Sabir.

Since the sensational daylight murder of Umesh Pal in the city, Prayagraj Police have issued lookout notices against the fugitive wife of deceased gangster Atiq Ahmed, Shaista Parveen, as well as for his close associates, Guddu Muslim and Sabir. According to officials, the Uttar Pradesh police have already posted a reward of Rs 50,000 for Shaista Parveen’s capture. The police are unable to locate Parveen and the two others despite their efforts. In such a circumstance, officials believe that they may flee the country.

In response, the authorities have issued lookout notices for all three of them. According to officials, Prayagraj Police had previously submitted a report to the government of Uttar Pradesh regarding this matter.

Consequently, a lookout notice has been issued against them to prevent their departure from the country. A one-year notice period will be provided. The alert has been sent to all immigration checkpoints, and if they are apprehended while attempting to depart the country, the Prayagraj police will be notified by the relevant agencies.

On April 9, the UP police doubled the reward for the capture of Shaista Parveen, the widow of slain gangster Atiq Ahmed. She is carrying a Rs 50,000 reward. On April 19, UP police conducted raids in Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh, in quest of Shaista.

According to the police, search operations are still ongoing in Prayagraj and neighboring communities in Uttar Pradesh. Shaista has been on the run since April 13, when Atiq Ahmed, his brother Ashraf, and Atiq’s son Asad Ahmed were killed in an encounter with the Special Task Force.

Earlier on April 25, the Uttar Pradesh government suspended Atiq’s brother-in-law, Akhlaq Ahmed, a health department doctor allegedly implicated in unethical activities.

Dr. Akhlaq Ahmed is presently incarcerated in the Naini Jail in Prayagraj. In Meerut, he was assigned to the Bhavanpur Community Health Center. After the assassination of Umesh Pal in Prayagraj, Dr. Akhlaq Ahmed is accused of providing explosives to fleeing gunmen and hiding Guddu Muslim.
