On Monday, the Congress leader of Rajasthan, Sachin Pilot, met with the widows of soldiers slain in the Pulwama attack.
The women were protesting against the state government, claiming that it had broken promises made to them after the attack.
He met the three widows, who were allegedly also mistreated by police during the demonstrations.
The former deputy prime minister stated, “Action must be taken against those responsible for the mistreatment of combat widows.” We have not fulfilled our commitments, and we must do so immediately.”
At the residence of Pilot in Jaipur, Manju, wife of Rohtash Lamba, Madhubala, wife of Hemraj Meena, and Sundari Devi, wife of Jeetal Gurjar, were protesting.
When the situation escalated, Pilot sat down with them and listened to their requests.
