Manish Sisodia’s Bail Application Rejected: On Friday, the Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi denied Manish Sisodia’s bail application in a case involving alleged irregularities in the now-repealed liquor excise policy.
The order on bail was reserved by the special judge M K Nagpal last week after the attorney representing the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) submitted concise written submissions and judgements as directed by the court on the final hearing date. The CBI also submitted a case log and statements from multiple witnesses.
Sisodia argued in his bail application that keeping him in detention would serve no useful purpose since all case-related deliveries have already been made.
