Mumbai Mira Road Case: In a horrifying incident, the Mumbai Police have detained a 56-year-old man suspected of murdering and dismembering his live in partner. Manoj Sahani has been identified as the suspect. Over the past three years, he and the victim Saraswati Vaidya shared a rental apartment in the Akashganga building on Mira Road.
The startling case came to light when residents of the building complained to the Nayanagar police station about a foul odor emanating from the couple’s apartment.
A preliminary investigation by the authorities revealed that the woman had been brutally murdered.
“Police have discovered the dismembered remains of a woman in the Mira Road neighborhood. A couple was residing together in this situation. An initial investigation revealed that the victim was murdered with a knife. Jayant Bajbale, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of Mumbai, stated that further investigation is underway.

The suspect was arrested Wednesday night. The DCP added that additional investigation into the case is currently ongoing.
