The IAF announced on Wednesday that IAF Chief VR Chaudhari met with Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe as part of his ongoing visit.
During his visit, the IAF Chief conferred with the State Minister of Defence, the National Security Advisor, and the Commanders of the Sri Lankan Air Force and Navy, according to the Indian Air Force.
“As part of his ongoing visit to Sri Lanka, CAS Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari met with the Honourable President, the State Minister of Defence, the National Security Advisor, as well as the Commanders of the Sri Lankan Air Force and Navy,” the Indian Air Force tweeted.
The bilateral discussions between the leaders confirmed the IAF’s unwavering commitment to Sri Lanka whenever India is requested.
In addition, the Chief of Air Staff (CAS) delivered a lecture at the esteemed Sri Lankan National Defense College.
The IAF Chief is presently on a 4-day official visit to Sri Lanka at the invitation of Air Marshal SK Pathirana, Commander of the Sri Lankan Air Force.

The visit will strengthen existing professional ties and bonds of mutual cooperation, according to an official statement from the Ministry of Defense.
