Akshay Kumar is returning with a new film that has an intriguing connection to ‘Bharat’. The actor released the Mission Raniganj movie poster on Wednesday, but the Internet observed several altered references to ‘Bharat’ in his Instagram post.
The Great ‘Bharat’ Rescue
The tentative title for Mission Raniganj was The Great Indian Rescue. However, now that Akshay has revealed the final title along with the film’s poster on Wednesday, the internet can’t help but note how the tentative title made it onto the poster directly below the final title, but with a notable change.
The phrase ‘The Great Indian Rescue’ has been changed to ‘The Great Bharat Rescue.’ This transformation occurs at a time when the nation is debating whether or not India should be officially renamed Bharat.
In addition, an Instagram user pointed out that Akshay’s original caption read “Watch the story of India’s true hero…” However, it was quickly changed to “Bharat’s true hero.” Comment: “He changed Great Indian Rescue to Great Bharat Rescue, but the caption still says ‘India’s’.” The user then responded to his own comment with “haha kiya change abhi” (haha, he just modified it).
Another user remarked, “Yaha bhi Bharat” (also Bharat) (thinking emoji). Another person asked, “Sir, when will the Chandrayaan 3 movie be released?”

Parineeti Chopra also appears in the rescue drama directed by Rustom’s Tinu Suresh Desai and produced by Vashu and Jackky Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment. While the teaser will drop on Thursday, the film is scheduled to release in cinemas on October 6.
Recently, on Independence Day, Akshay announced that he has obtained Indian citizenship. Previously, the actor had only Canadian citizenship. Intriguingly, Akshay’s last collaboration with the Mission Raniganj director, Rustom (2016), earned him his first National Film Award for Best Actor.
