Every time visitors come to Bali, they find something new and beautiful. Pantai Bias Tugel, also called Secret Beach, is one of these wonders that people didn’t know about before. It was hidden for a long time because it was in a remote place. The quiet beach has a lot of confusing names that make it hard to find among the popular beaches on the island, but it’s getting more and more visitors every day.
You would feel calm after a day at the beach. The beach is made up of golden sand with a few black volcanic grains mixed in. At the edges of the beaches, there are rocky shorelines and rough pools where kids can play.
People who like to fish can rent snorkeling gear from shops on the beach, which is a good place to do it. Swimming is a good idea, especially in the afternoon, even though the currents are strong. On the beach, sunbathing is an easy thing to do.
Highlights: The warungs set up on the beach give you snorkel gear, or a cold Bintang or even a young coconut as well as a grilled fish. There are chances to grab a rejuvenating massage for 80000 rupiah for an hour- why don’t give it a try?
Entry fee: The official entry point shows a ticket booth where you have to pay a fee of 2000 IDR per person and parking will cost 5000 IDR.
Opening hours: 08:00 am to 06:00 pm.
Location: Padangbai, Manggis, Karangasem Regency, Bali 80871, Indonesia. To reach the beach, you have to take the road that passes the Post Office from the ferry terminal. 750 meters uphill will lead you to the signposted intersection and from there, after 500 meters, you can see the ticket counter and continue walking down a narrow path to the beach.
