In early trade on Thursday, standard indices for stocks went up along with a rise in the US markets and a drop in the price of crude oil.
The 30-share BSE Sensex went up 182.62 points to 66,205.86 in early trade, adding to the gain it made the day before. The Nifty went up 54.35 points to 19,866.20.
Wipro, Asian Paints, Nestle, Mahindra & Mahindra, Bajaj Finserv, IndusInd Bank, and ITC were the ones that did the best on the Sensex.
The last ones to move were UltraTech Cement and Hindustan Unilever.
On Asian markets, Shanghai prices went up, while Seoul and Hong Kong prices went down.
The US stock market finished Wednesday with gains.
As a measure of the world’s oil market, Brent crude fell 1.33% to USD 80.87 a barrel.
“The 10-year US bond yield is hovering around 4.40 percent, and the number of FII sales is going down, which is good news for the market,” said V. K. Vijayakumar, Chief Investment Strategist at Geojit Financial Services.

According to records from the exchange, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) sold stocks worth ₹306.56 crore on Wednesday.
