SpaceX chief Elon Musk has stated that if everything goes as planned, the massive Starship rocket system might launch into orbit for the first time as early as next month.
As it prepares to send NASA astronauts to the moon, SpaceX has been working to launch the crucial test flight of its newest deep-space transportation system since last year.
In response to a user’s tweet on Starship on Saturday, Musk tweeted, “If remaining testing go well, we will attempt a Starship launch next month.”

A March launch attempt seemed highly plausible, Musk had said in January, adding that there was a “serious shot” at launching Starship in late February.
“Late February is a serious possibility for us. In response to rumours that the mission could take place as early as January 31, SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk remarked through Twitter on January 7 that a launch attempt in March “appears extremely likely.
In addition to other tasks, SpaceX is creating Starship to transport passengers and goods to Mars and the Moon.
From Starbase, the upcoming test flight will take off. It will circle the planet once before crashing into the Pacific Ocean off the island of Kauai in Hawaii. It appears like Booster 7 will make its own splashdown in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Texas.
The Starship’s first test flight since May 5, 2021, will be the orbital trial.
With the ability to launch 100 tonnes of payload into low Earth orbit, it will be the most potent launch vehicle ever to take to the skies.

The crew and cargo-carrying Starship spacecraft and the Super Heavy rocket together make up the two-part system known as Starship. Before separating and descending to Earth, the rocket component will raise Starship to an altitude of approximately 65 km.
