On Monday, 3 July, Sudha Mahindra, wife of the late industrialist and former chairman of the Mahindra Group, Keshub Mahindra, passes away. Chairman if Mahindra group Anand Mahindra took to Twitter to share the news and said, ”She is in a far better position now and I’m sure she is happy to be reunited with my late Uncle Keshub’.
“I am grateful to all of you who have expressed condolences on the demise of my aunt Sudha early this morning. She’s in a much better place now, and I’m certain she’s thrilled to be reunited with my late uncle Keshub. I am also aware that she would be pleased to have made her transition on Guru Purnima. I will never forget how she cared for and protected her family and bore every loss with courage and compassion.” Anand Mahindra published a tweet.
Sudha Mahindra participated in numerous charitable endeavors. She worked with numerous organizations in India to advance education and healthcare.
On April 12, 2023, Keshub Mahindra, the former chairman of the Mahindra Group and the man widely credited with establishing and expanding the group’s tractor and SUV businesses, passed away at his residence.
Keshub Mahindra passed away in Mumbai at the age of 99.
The news of his mortality came just days after he was included on the Forbes 2023 list of billionaires with a $1.3 billion net worth. Keshub served as Chairman of the Mahindra Group for 48 years, during which time he expanded the company from an automotive manufacturer to include IT, real estate, financial services, and hospitality.
He was instrumental in forging business alliances with global powerhouses such as Willys Corporation, Mitsubishi, International Harvester, United Technologies, British Telecom, and others.

Keshub, who was born on October 9, 1923 in Shimla and graduated from Wharton, University of Pennsylvania, joined M&M in 1947 and was appointed chairman in 1963.
Their three daughters Uma, Leena, and Yutchika, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren survive Keshub and Sudha.
