Operation SheeshMahal: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s Official Residence Renovated for 45 Crore.

Right Now Navbharat Special: The official residence of Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal cost approximately Rs 45 crore, the channel reported on Tuesday. Times Now Navhbarat reported that Rs 97 lakh were spent on draperies and Rs 3 crore were spent to import marbles from Vietnam to renovate Kejriwal’s residence in the Civil Lines neighborhood.

A Times Now Navbharat report reveals that nearly 45 crore rupees were spent on the renovation of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s official bungalow on Civil Lines in Delhi. The new report titled “Operation Sheeshmahal” claims that a staggering Rs 44.78 crore of taxpayer money was spent on the renovation of the Chief Minister’s official bungalow, casting doubt on the Aam Aadmi Party’s austerity discussions.

The channel reported that the renovation of Kejriwal’s official residence cost tax payers Rs 44,78.

According to the documents obtained by the channel, each curtain at Arvind Kejriwal’s residence costs approximately Rs 5-8 lakh.

The documents revealed that 23 draperies with a total cost of Rs 97 lakhs were approved for the residence of the Delhi chief minister and national AAP convenor.

Vietnamese Marble Is Imported For Kejriwal’s Official Residence

The renovation of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence required the importation of Vietnamese marble at a cost of Rs 3 crores.

The floors were renovated with ‘Deor Pearl Marble’ of exceptional quality. In addition, Rs 21,60,000 was spent on a chemical to repair the marble.

Rs 40 crore spent on Almirahs at Kejriwal’s residence

The documents revealed that the six almirahs installed at the official residence of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal cost Rs 40 lakhs.

Approximately Rs 63 lakhs were spent on the renovation of two kitchens at the official residence of Arvind Kejriwal.

Six carpets were purchased for Rs 1,989,000 for use in the chief minister’s official residence.

In an interview with Times Now, BJP leader Nalin Kohli criticized AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, claiming that he is a pathological liar who says one thing today and does the exact contrary tomorrow.

Recall that in 2013, Arvind Kejriwal proclaimed that neither he nor any of his AAP ministers would move into the government-provided bungalows and insisted that they be assigned smaller government apartments.
