On Monday at 12 p.m., PM Modi will inaugurate off the Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) diamond jubilee celebrations. According to a government statement, the ceremony will take place at the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. Additionally, he will inaugurate the newly constructed CBI office complexes in Shillong, Pune, and Nagpur. In addition, he will issue a commemorative stamp and coin to commemorate the occasion.
During the program, Prime Minister Modi will present medals to recipients of the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service and the Gold Medal for the Best Investigating Officers of the Central Bureau of Investigation.
Modi will also reveal the new Twitter handle for the CBI. In October of 2012, during the Interpol General Assembly, CBI made its Twitter debut with a blue checkmark. The purpose of the handle was to communicate event-related information.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), India’s premier investigative agency, was established on April 1, 1963, based on a resolution passed by the ministry of home affairs.
